La Belle Maison
The golden age of French furniture was at its peak in the 18th century. Louis XV reigned and interiors were decadent and furniture was sophisticated. Fast forward to 2012 and this look continues to make a sophisticated addition to today's home but on a much more realistic budget. Delicate decors, nude colours, hand finished furniture and rich layering instantly breathe new life in to this classic look.

50's Retro
Mid-century modern makes its comeback this year with shades of yellow and green, retro patterns and smooth curves.
Sixty years on and Fifties fashion returns with a vengeance for 2012 with homages to the classic era on the catwalks of Prada, Jil Sander and Dior who all favoured demure skirt lengths, belted waists and a strong pastel palette. The pared back chic look also works in furniture, as our new collection picks the best parts of the era that was all about post-war promise and understated cool.

Heather Bracken
The heritage look took over the fashion scene last year with quilting and checks and it is set to be in vogue again for 2012 but this time with a softer twist. Classic checks in neat shapes, pleated skirts in calm shades and woollen knits all graced the catwalks of London Fashion Week.
This year the tartan trend moves into bold checks in soft tones of lavender, this simple take on the great outdoors blends perfectly into homeware and furniture.

Harvard
For those looking to ooze charm, luxury and old money look no further than the country club traditions of the Ivy League. The Ivy League style was said to have originated on the college campuses of Yale and Princeton. A preppy look favoured by the USA fashion stalwarts Ralph Lauren and J Crew, it's big fashion news for 2012.

Paradise Island
Exotic living doesn't come any brighter than this combination of bright white furniture, bold accessories and bursts of colour.
This summer's fashion collections took inspiration from the South Pacific's tropical climates, pristine beaches and lush rainforests with many designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel and Armani showcasing an exotic cocktail of botanical prints and vibrant colourways teamed with crisp whites.

La Dolce Vita
Black gloss furniture, sumptuous upholstery, chrome accents and mirrored finishes are all hallmarks of Italian glamour most often seen in a Hollywood movie.
Influenced by Dolce and Gabbana's 2012 runway collection which was bursting with old-school Italian allure from black patent to figure hugging dresses and bold prints our La Dolce Vita look brings this look to the home.
