As well as history and beautiful scenery, Scotland's capital also offers a surprising mix of art, culture and fine dining. See the landscapes of Scotland captured in a surprising way at the latest Scottish Colourist exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, as well as beautifully composed still lifes in an extensive retrospective of the work of SJ Peploe.
Enter our competition and you could win a luxury overnight stay for two in Edinburgh, including a VIP curator's tour of the exhibition. The prize includes one night at Channings, a luxury four-star hotel and former home of Sir Ernest Shackleton, the famous Polar explorer, as well as a copy of the exhibition catalogue and afternoon tea in the gallery café.
